Hi everyone!

I'm a senior film student at a university local to New York City, and I'm creating a short film about both my experiences and others' experiences with DP/DR. Since there's a huge lack of DP/DR representation in the media, my goal is to create a mini-documentary that accurately raises awareness while also being a short film that those with DP/DR can identify with and find comfort in. It's going to be titled, "Derealization; Depersonalization; Deconstructed."

I'm looking for people who would possibly be interested in being interviewed over Zoom about their experiences and thoughts surrounding DP/DR. If you're interested, if you could either reply to this thread, comment on my profile, or email me at [email protected], that would be amazing.

Thanks so much,
Camille ☺

the idea seems interesting and I strongly agree that DPDR should get more attention but in my opinion it is a extremely sensitive topic in many ways so be careful but I fully support you on your project, hope it goes well. I'm actually interested in the interview bc I think its always good to get my thoughts and feeling outta my head. I've never been officially diagnosed with the disorder but I've had a deep resonance with many of the experience shared by others here and I did have many psychotic brakes on weed so im pretty sure that I've experienced DPDR on higher and lower levels throughout this past year
