I actually think its a concentration thing rather than lack of co-ordination or clumsiness...I say this because things like doin maths in my head which used to be second nature to me have become much more difficult....Multi tasking is now beyond me....I have to read something 3 or 4 times over to get it to sink in....I get disorientated in big shopping malls and in crowds and it makes me feel like im losing my balance and just completely lost....My short term memory is now awful...I literally forget things i did five minutes ago.....I get distracted really easy and then completely forget what i was doing in the first place....I cant remember appointments that are literally the next day........In general if im being given too much information to process at once i simply cannot absorb any of it....

Now if somebody tries to tell me this is side effects from medicine i politlely tell them to go f*** themselves.....This all kicked in as soon as my DP developed , long before i was put on medicine to treat my DP......In fact medicine improved these issues....

Also if any one else tries to tell me that this stuff is very normal for every body (DP sufferers or not) they can also politley go f*** themselves....I had amazing multi tasking and information absorbing abilities before i developed DP....

DP ruins your concentration! Full Stop! or for you Americans Period!

Do you guys think coordination is really connected to DP?

I am very uncoordinated, but I assumed it had to do with my anxiety.

It's funny yet torturous to know most of my problems are connected to one or 2 disorders (anxiety disorders and DP/DR).. very discouraging to know the only thing that works is clonazepam and I'm not allowed to take that or any drug for that matter.

Travis Scott DP and anxiety are closely linked to each other so lack of co-ordination goes hand in hand with both......

What people are saying in this thread is basically that their concentration levels are very poor when going through DP...

Plain old anxiety can do the exact same thing....

Because we become so focused on our anxiety and our DP (we obsess about it) its no wonder our co-ordination and concentration levels suffer...
