I went to the psychiatrist 3 weeks ago - he increased my paxil from 10mg to 20mg. After I had some bad side effects after 2 1/2 weeks, I called him and let him know. Instead of trying to put me on something else, he wants me to increase the dosage to 40mg! Is this a crazy idea?

They increase the dosage when they don't know what else to do, and you'll be so stunned that you won't ask questions to him anymore.

Pills are to the Psychiatrist what Stetoscope is to the GP....
Something like that... :?

heyy well, i can relate a lil bit, my anixety has been a lil worse so i went from 30 mg of paxil to 40 mg today... i dont no if it will even make a difference, but i guess im goign to see. good luck.
