Long time since I've been here.

Update, been getting on with my life since I was last on the boards, still on medication; Citalopram - 60mg though currently trying to lower the dose, now down to 50mg; hoping to be off all medication before the end of this year.

After tests, tests, tests all of last year, doctors have discovered a small hole in my Pituatiry Gland causing low Testosterone adding to that my Prolactin levels are too high because of this, yes I'AM MALE, lol. Apparently this disorder is called Hyperprolactinemia disorder.

So... I have been givin this medication to take: DOSTINEX - active ingredient - CABERGOLINE 0.5MG, this is a Prolactin Inhibitor - one pill a week.

I'am wondering if anyone on the board has had experience with this medication in mix with an SSRI and the fact of having Depersonalization/Derealization/Depression/Anxiety.

Any replys would be greatly appreciated. :roll:

Well, this post was made like 5 months ago, but maybe you will reply!

Just curious what your testosterone levels were, and what your prolactin levels where. I too have the same issue, and my Dr. is putting me on Dostinex as well.

My testosterone was down to like 149 and my prolactin was elevated like maybe 10 points? no too much. They thought that I had a tumor on my putitary, but MRI after MRI they never saw anything.

Let me know, am interested how you are doing on that med as I am about to start taking it ...
