Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and I wanted to know what are some ways to relieve dr? I've had it for 4 years now non-stop. I've only recently become more accepting of it. But I really want to know a way to make it go away. I'm 16 and I had a therapist for my anxiety, but I stopped going after the first 2 visits because it made me so anxious, but now I'm wondering if it helps?

Thanks in advance.

Depends. Like asking if medication helps, it depends which one but then everybody here seems to find different meds helpful. It depends on the therapist. And finding a good one of those is really hard. It can help, but you have to be honest with yourself and the therapist and really force yourself to talk about things that are uncomfortable. Bad habits, things you are afraid of, the times you made the wrong decision. Problem is people don't want to talk about these things, and if your therapist doesn't push you you will probably end up talking about the science of DPD which is useless because you're not talking to a scientist. Give it another go, there are online therapists if you have a google
