At night time everything looks dark to me, like it seems like I dont have enough lights on (but I do). It's kinda like when you get up in the middle of the night and turn the light on. I find it a bit frightening at times. It sounds strange but does anybody else with/experiencing DR ever feel like this?

dont worry about it man, dont give it so much attention, stay healthy and it should fadeee away. The faster you react, the quicker the recovery.

Yes, I'm glad I met someone else who has this. At night sometimes I go into the kitchen, and it looks like a few lights are out. Things appear darker, or like light is being hidden from the room. It's really wierd, and yes this is DR.

I have the same "problem". Things appear darker somehow. When I'm talking to someone, it is sometimes as if there is a dark curtain sparkling with tiny flashes of light - like I'm having my eyes closed or something...you're not alone!

i experience exactly the same types of light problems. I am at my worst when I walk outside at night, I feel like I might aswell have my eyes shut. I also feel like I'm in danger. I have updated all my lights to 100w clear bulb only and added alot of lamps and desklights. it helps. dull or diffused light is distressing. also, when i use a solarium, my floaters become extremely noticable.

It doesnt matter if its day or night I percieve everything as dull too. Especially at the begining I would get up in the morning open wide the curtains, put the lights on and open the windows for air. Although Iam also sensitive to too much light, sunlight, and ofcourse incandescent and fluorescent lighting. Cant win!!! :x
