So I’ve been having dpdr for about 8 months now after a panic attack from weed and I’ve had a hard time finding recovery stories or positive anecdotes from people with blank mind. It’s really starting to worry me because my dr is practically gone but dp is still there and more specifically blank mind. I would love to hear anything positive or a recovery story because this has really been bringing me down lately.

I have found that accepting the blank mind to be greatly beneficial. I think for many, including myself, there has always been the fear of losing oneself completely into that. The Late Great Joseph Campbell, World Renowned Comparative Mythology Scholar, would say "The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek." Also, worth to note, Depersonalization has been likened to being "Enlightenment's Evil Twin". I am not saying we are enlightened with this condition, it's definitely an existential malady. Though Meditation and other Spiritual practices such as Medicinal Plants have helped me tremendously, both with dealing with DP/DR and also a gradual return to reality and connection with oneself. are we talking about the same symptoms of „michaeltheanhedonic“ or „tdx“ when we talk about yours? maybe you have some of a blank mind it is tolerable and theirs is not. dont know man this blank mind stuff is so inaccurate and nothing can be thrown in one box. read almost hundreds of experiences about blank mind and all of them talked about something else

Though you're right. Everybody seems to be going through their own version of DP/DR, albeit similar. There also appears to be different forms of dissociation. I tend to consider Marijuana induced DP/DR to be a different kind than Trauma induced. Some people have only DR, while others only DP, and many with both DP & DR. The thing is, we use the same terminology to explain our experience of reality. And we already know as a community of DP'd individuals, no amount of words can make most people without it understand.
