we're supposed to be like this. That is, IS our "normal". Just flow it, type of attitude. For instance some times this DP works for me. I work in a Trauma Center and sometimes the DP benefits me when I am with a trauma. I go into robot mode. KWIM?

I mean the DP scares me more often than not. That "I am going into madness thing" but sometimes I think 'Ok this is me" "It's not so bad" "So what I feel "weird".

I don't know just a thought.

If this was my "normal", I probably wouldn't even be a member on this board. Because I would never have thought anything about it in the first place.

But I'm a man, not a robot (to paraphrase Patrick McGoohan). Which is why I can't let go of the idea of ever coming out of this state.

If you're happy and you know it clap your hands, clap clap, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands, clap clap, if you're happy and you know it and you really want to show it, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands.

(Martin listens, but hears no clapping)

So, in summary, no, it's not the 'way you're supposed to be'. Don't even think it.
