My dpdr only started at the same time I got gerd. Could be coincidental, but I have an instinct that it could be related. Anyone else?

I think Ive read somewhere that the digestive system is very connected to the brain. If parts of the digestive system are in an unhealthy state, the brain can respond by inducing anxiety or even dissociation.

I read a recovery post on here about a person who recovered after discovering that his/her dissociation was gut related, and seeked the proper treatment.

Personally, I find that when my gut feels uneasy my DPDR definitely shoots up.

Absolutely. It was actually a reflux flareup that prompted me to start this thread. My DR symptoms were quite bad and my vision during motion (head swivels etc), was blurrier and choppier than usual. Today, my gut is normal and I feel ok. The DR is still there, but not so apparent.
