i was asked recently how i recovered from dp the first time, and the only answer i could think of was the fact that after a year spent in my bedroom i took on a driving job which was a daily shift of between 8 and 11 hours......does anyone here drive for a living because im convinced that because i was concentrating so much on the road i didnt have time to think about 'me' and thats what finally cured me....

cheers

I drive alot...
A bit for work but not mainly.

When I feel really bad...I go have a ride...it helps me alot.
My brain have no choice but to concentrate on the road.
Even if DP is lingering...it's almost always better while driving...even calming.

This feeling of freedom you get in a car is great too =)
exactly you have no choice but to concentrate on the road...i was driving upto 11 hours a day and this was how i recovered from dp...so it just goes to prove that if we occupy our minds as much as is humanly possible this dp lifts
