As you can see from my nickname (nocturnalman) I am a night person because at night I have either mild anxiety or no anxiety at all.And mysteriously most paranoid thoughts (solipsism) seem to vanish and I feel at easy.
This brings me to the next point.Because the daytime is usually full of sensory overload ,people with DP ,which is a shift in perception, tend to feel overwhelmed during daytime. They say DP happened because the brain lowered the amount of sensory processing and thats why at night I think I feel 90% better.
Yes I do feel emotionally better but financially not because most jobs require morning attendance.

I have noticed that when I wake up in the morning, my symptoms are terrible until about 3-4 in the afternoon. Then around 9 or 10 at night I feel a tiny bit better. Does anyone else experience this? Curious as to why this is.
Yes actually and I posted about this not too long ago. For years now I've been experiencing (or perceiving) a lessening of my symptoms around 2-4 in the afternoon. Sometimes around 3 AM I'll randomly feel better as well.

Interesting point about sensory overload. That would make sense. Things seem more familiar to me at night opposed to during the day. Also wonder why the afternoon seems to bring some people peace. Maybe it just takes us longer to “wake up”?
