Do you have parts of yourself that you're aware of and accepting of but cannot put together? accept them as one in one personality, self?

Hard to explain but, I'm pretty sure who feels this way can understand what I'm saying

I'm wondering if this is one root of prolonged DP

The avoidant personality bit though! This disorder kind of describes my early childhood! Honestly it's crazy how people with this DPDR have so much in common such as other disorders and personality traits yet no one is taking that into account and investigating the correlations.

Hmm I guess you're probably right, they' might not accepted unconsciously. The human mind is so mysterious, kinda in a terrifying way lmao.

I have such differing 'personalities' that a while ago I completely freaked out about this developing into multiple personality disorders, especially that I then had developed some kind of commentary voice -that is mine- sort of just was there, and the thought intensified it.

I only calmed down after reading that MPD is classified as so having the person not being aware fully of the other personalities...

Wonder if integrating these parts with therapy would help, if it was possible to anyway..
