do a lot of people around you make your DP/DR a lot worse? like, at a party, or when you're in a mall.

it does for me. i was just curious.

Yeah crowds and fluorescent lights suck balls. I think I find shoping centers the worst, they make me feel totally out of it. Shopping centers with a hang over are killer!

Crowds and being in large spaces used to make my Dp about a hundred times worse.. I have always been an avid concert-goer and honestly things would become SO unreal and go in slow motion. Now I have no issue with it anymore, I can go to concerts and be in other crowds without issue.

Bright sunlight INSTANTLY causes DP for me no matter how good I was feeling just before that. And when I'm out on the streets in sunny Singapore with a whole bunch of people around me....let's just say I get the jitters so bad I'm now accustomed to wearing black shirts so the coffee stains don't show.

I think that's because of the noise crowds make and too much things to focus on at the same time. Our DP/DR'd minds are not used to that, they just can't concentrate on those situations. What we want is peace and quite.Otherwise we tend to freakout.
