In my case, 4 consecutive weeks of ear ringing, of course thinking this is anxiety, I finally go to the doctor. Becuase of my chronic sinus mess in the past, I am susceptible to ear infections and problems. I've had surgery, etc.

Well, after waiting like an idiot as I "felt OK" save bells in my ear, I find I have serous otits sp? i.e. fluid trapped behind my eardrum.

Must go back on daily allergy regimine and nasal spray. The doc said this can last 8 weeks.

Indeed sometimes a cigar is indeed a cigar Or in my case an ear infection is indeed an ear infection. Also have a low grade temp and the doc said no more antibiotics unless absolutely necessary.

Certan conditions, if they have a sudden onset and don't go away, you can always have your doc stick something in your ear and have a look. It could be that simple, and that stupid. And no wonder I've been draggin -- a little more -- these days.

Man I have to shut up. Sorry I'm a posting maniac.

Hey Maniac,I have to stop following you around here.......I'm a bigger maniac :shock:

My tinnitus was not according to a doctor at the time caused by anxiety.
It was either caused by a load explosion or an inner ear virus which happened close to each other.............as they do :lol:

Gee at least you know it can get fixed.

My tinnitus was from taking paxil/aropax & it hasn't gone away & it gets worse with stress.

But its no biggie compared to the other stuff.

do you also feel like a pure hypochondric? I can listen for ages to my body, checking everything, every itch, my pulse, my breathing, just to check if everything is running normally?

i was a child hyphochondriac was always told id grow out of it......LOL

.....but yes icheck my pulse, try not to think about breathing though-it puts me in a right dizz,if i think about it i have panic attacks....

....oh yes and any ache or pain i have to be dying.....but this bloody buzz in my ear is real enough, its like a low grade hum constant and when i get more stressed it gets higher pitched its hell
