Has anyone any experience of this drug ? I've been prescribed it to knock me out at night time, because the pain my back (arse) keeps me awake until about three seconds before it's time to wake up, annoyingly.

I've had a quick look on the internet and it seems it's an old barbituate (yeeey ! that completes the entire set of psychotropic drug compounds for me!! :( )...just interested to hear of any experiences.

Wow. They're really digging into the back of their medicine chest for you, Martin. I can hear the conversation with the doc now...." Having trouble sleeping? No problem. What kind of psych meds have you tried in the past?" After a few minutes...." Okay, okay, what kind of psych meds HAVENT you done??" Martin toes the floor sheepishly. Doctor's internal monologue : "Hmm.....could put him on ambien....too soft for this guy. Could give him an opiate....nah, he'll take it with alcohol. If only there was a really old sedative, discovered around 1832, which could be used to tranquilize wild horses, can be used for preop sedation, and will kill you if you even try drinking alchohol with it.....Ah, yes, I've got it!"

Peace

PS- Dont take it if you have an ulcer.

Wow, are you actually my doctor in disguise Homeskooled? The circumstances are almost exactly as you describe ! Except, that t'was I who asked for the most lethally sedating drug known to man.

Could kill me if I drink it with alcohol eh ? Wooo...dare I walk that particular tight-rope again ? Cheers for that. :) I'm sure your intentions are sincere, but that's like waving a red flag in front of a suicidal bull, on roller-skates, at the edge of a very tall cliff. In the snow.

Well, I was exaggerating Martin. It used to be called a Mickey Finn in England, I think, when you mixed the two together. But yeah, it could kill you, but usually, you just passed out. But dont try it. You've got more sense than that, and I dont know if your body could handle it at this stage. Besides, you have to stick around and endlessly needle me.

Peace
