My eyes feel so numbish like they are not there when I blink and no matter how tight I squeeze them. I've had this non stop for a while but they keep feeling number and it's at a point I'm terrified. Kind of like non existent eyes/ floaty hollow....i don't know, damn disturbing. I have a "numb" floaty not aware or in my body feeling all the time as well, and I've had it an very long time, but the eye part is the scariest. Please all be considerate with your answers I am very terrified and disturbed- so please be gentle with your answers, words greatly affect me right now. Any advice would be appreciated, and yes I've been to the doctor. I am getting extremely scared because I cannot find anything online about this symptom and it is super severe I'm scared I am the only one..

I have this too and so do many others on here. It is a very common symptom of DP. You are not the only one. From my experience this seems to be aggravated by stress so finding a way to lower stress and anxiety is a good place to start. Make your healing a priority and tell the people you are close to in your life what you are going through and stick up for what your limitations are during this time because only you know how you feel not them. I personally am an advocate for meds to help lower anxiety. I suggest trying an SSRI but they can make you feel worse at first. I just got on lamotrigine and it has a nice calming affect. Maybe see if you can get that if you don't want to do an SSRI because it is pretty smooth sailing to get on. I also like taking GABA supplements for anxiety. People say they don't work but I'm convinced they have a mild calming effect which is sometimes all I need. Also you can try guided body scan meditations on youtube. It takes practice but it can make you feel a little more grounded and in touch with your body as well as reduce stress. If you can get some cardio exercise every couple days or more that can burn stress in your body and help as well

Don't be scared hun, this is just the numbing side to depersonalization, you're totally fine. My eye's, eyelids, face everything feels numb, it bothered me at first but now I don't even think about it. Don't fear it hun, fearing it only feeds it. At one point my whole body went numb, like I felt like I could punch my legs and I would not feel it....like the shot you get at the dentist....very similar to that, but it's your body protecting you xxxx
