I think I have seen a new side to dp/dr
If you don't feel reality then how can you avoid dangerous places?
Or situations you may get yourself in and get in trouble cause you were
too naive or somethin? Or do you think it goes more into that?
Do you think you should just take a "Common Sense" class or "Listen to Reason"?

Derealisation, in itself, isn't dangerous. But I guess it might make you more vunerable to normal life situations. But in all my loooooooooong ten years of being involved, one way or another, with it, I haven't heard of anyone being 'hurt', physically, by DR. If that's what you're talking about.

I don't think, except in extreme cases, DR chases away common sense. To use a cliche that I've used a hundred times, you never forget how to ride a bike, however long it's been. People with DR can function, on the outside, almost perfectly normally.

I think of it more as a total reatreat into logic and reason (at least for me). So you won't endanger yourself that way.

I would think self-harming is potentially more dangerous.
