Hallo there! I'm really sorry but I have lost the plot on whether or not a group is still planning to meet on Sat 23rd April ....but what I can tell you is that the DP-inspired event
TIME TO BE REAL
is still happening on 23rd at Guy's Chapel, St Thomas St, near London Bridge and I would be sincerely honoured and thrilled if any of you from this website wanted to venture along - espcially so, because I know what it means to venture anywhere especially to a gathering when dp'ed. You can find out more on our website - www.into.org.uk/mentalfightclub and am pasting in below the latest blurb I find myself writing to promote it to other arts and mental health organsiations.....here you have it...PM or email me if you want to come and I will save you a good seat!
Time To Be Real is the VERY SPECIAL and FREE launch event of Mental Fight Club - the latest creative force for Good-Mental-Health in Southwark inspired by the experience of prolonged and severe Depersonalisation Disorder. All are welcome and the more the merrier, let us know if you want to come.......and in return, we aim to provide an inspriational feast for your eyes, your ears, your mind and your emotions with an audio-visual performance of Time To Be Real, the first section of Ben Okri's amazing epic poem, Mental Fight. This unusual afternoon will be full of surprises and chance encounters between the real and the imaginary....
Alice in Wonderland will meet Nick Cave
Edward Hopper will meet Joni Mitchell
St George will meet Holy Cole Trio
Leo Janacek will meet William Blake
A flock of birds will meet Ralph Vaughan Williams
