That's how it always feels, like my brain is fragmented and I can't access any coherent thought or concentration or response - and I know it does pass, at some point it clicks back into itself and I am back online, but right now I feel almost completely mindless and having to force myself to do things, no connection to emotions as usual - just a silly grin that passes across my face every so often.

Hey Sarah,

Don't be so quick to discount those silly grins. There's an emotion in there somewhere bustin' to get out. :D

You are going to be so amazed at yourself when you stop paying attention to every nuance that goes on involving your mind and how it is or is not functioning.

Thinking positive, as usual, for you. And hey, watch out for those grins...they just may stick around for a while.

Really best wishes to you.

Let yourself just feel that, then, without scolding yourself. It's okay to feel that. Just say, "Heck, I feel funky, so I'm going to funk out for a while."

If you have to function while you funk, you can do it.

Don't criticize yourself for having a funk. Everybody has them.
