Every day, especially when it gets dark & the artificial lights get turned on I feel like I haven't slept in 10 days.

Like I have been awake for 10 days drinking tons of caffeine & alcohol but haven't been able to crash yet, so utterly exhausted yet very wired at the same time.

Also when I go to bed I wake up feeling like I haven't actually slept. Like I'm missing sleep stages. I am wondering whether I have sleep issues or DP or vice versa.

It's so confusing. MY DP has been 24/7 for almost 6 months now, and it was progressive. Like it wasn't just there and stayed the same but got worse month by month but it's slowly settling down I guess. I just found out last month that I got this conditioned. Before I was just thinking that my sleep patterns broke & that's why I feel so extremely weirded out.

Comments are welcome.

Oh yeah, you have no idea.

I think this is a big problem with DP. You get poor sleep, feel like shit. Get more DP because you don't get the rest. Get no sleep because of DP.................

Sorry but i totally disagree. Of course its better to get good sleep but once you get dp/dr, it doesnt play big role. You can sleep 14 hours a day and it wont help ur dp/dr , but actually make it worse. Personally oversleeping is one of reasons my dp was relapsing

Take vitamins, i was feeling same when i was vitamin d deficient. I could sleep for 10 hours and wake up totally exhausted. Other sign is you are physically inactive and thats what makes u lethargic
