Hey!

so I’m having a tough time with my thoughts lately and I was wondering if any of you could give me advice on how to manage them or advice.

my brain goes:

who is your mum > I don’t know > but it’s my mum we all have had one

I’m going to disappear > anxiety > you can’t disappear

I’ll go to the hospital > the hospital does not exist > you can’t get out of this

these are my thoughts and how they manifest every second of my life and I’m really struggling with these.

I’d love any advice!

I had just written a huge reponse full of complicated advice, and I realized it was leading nowhere and I was getting into obsessional thinking myself, full of never ending paradoxical loops and so on..... and it was precisely going against the advice I was giving. Talk about unnecessary loops...
So I think what I just wanted to say is that the less attention I give to these thoughts (even negative attention) the better, and any distraction is welcome again and again. That's maybe the simplest way.
It's so easy for me to get carried away in these things.
