Ive never had this done terri*, so I cant speak to you from my own experience, but I will hold your hand
It will be ok. Let us know how it went, allright?
Good luck x
aww terri,
sorry to see you have a tough time... and i am here to hold your hand as you so kindly did mine for my spinal tap. things are never as bad as your anxiety builds them up to be. my tap was NOTHING compared to what my anxiety had made out of it. im not sure what a spinal injection is... is it anything like a spinal tap? terri i am a extreme wuss in every way.. really i am... if i can get through it anyone can. thinking of you and sending calming thoughts your way. hang in there.
All I know about needles in spines is when my wife had an epidural before her delivery. The local they gave her numbed the area and she seemed to handle it pretty well. You just have to remain still. I hope you have someone that will be in there with you plus the Benzo's should help.
Maybe Martin, the second arse man, can help with the details and reassure you .
My deepest appreciation to each of you for your positive thoughts. As most of us have been together thru various ups and downs, it gives me a warm heart to have you stand there beside me. Even across the ethernet miles, compassionate hearts mean so very much to me.
Although I have not been around much recently on the boards, I think of you often and remember with gratitude your steadfast kindness during my recent bout. So just to let you, I am here too beaming you positive thoughts and affirmations - you continue in my thoughts and prayers.
ALL MY LOVE
Sarah x
