My Mistress' Eyes are Nothing Like a Shoe

My Mistress eyes are nothing like a shoe;
As coal is grey so too are her lips red.
As is the sky her breasts are not of blue;
As with some folk no bugs crawl on her head.
I have seen billiard ball and catchers mitt,
But no such objects see I in her cheeks;
And barnyard smells far more of chicken shit
Than does the breath that from my mistress reeks.
I love to her her talk yet well I know
The puma has a far more silent sound.
I grant i never saw a gyro go:
My mistress with her feet walks on the ground.
And yet, by heaven, her nose is very long
And by six inches is positioned wrong.
