Always has for me.

Hope this isn't too redundant.

But I think it has a sufficiently different nuance from "Do you feel like others have everything handed to them free and complimentary merely for having shown up as someone other than you?" ("Is the world anti-you?").

I think the only grounds for voting "yes" would be if you were discriminated against through no fault of your own, had bad parents, or were economically disadvantaged from the outset. If that or something similar in the case, then I suppose you can fairly feel like you've been dealt a "bad hand".

But those who simply believe the world goes badly for them especially very often are either just wrong, haven't put much "in" to life, or have unreasonably high expectations of how good things should be.

I think the world is a shithole for most of the people in it.

I see your point. If people think they're discriminated against somehow when in reality they're not, all that's left is paranoia or an inferiority complex.
That wasn't entirely my point.

Thinking you have been discriminated against is merely a qualifier here, and says nothing really about whether it's actually true or not (in this case).

What we must bear in mind here is that just because someone is paranoid doesn't mean there isn't something for them to really be paranoid about.
