Hello, I'm a new member, and I was just wondering... did everyone here become inflicted with Depersonalization because of drugs? Because... I've had it ever since I can remember and not once have I done drugs.

Becuase everyone uses some kind of drugs. I herd somebody got it from perscription drugs her doctor gave her. others ive herd are THC, shrooms etc...

Just came down with it when I was about fifteen or sixteen.

I have a million theories as to why, but I can definitely say for certain that drugs (illegal ones, anyway) had no part in the onset of my dp/dr.

Hola,
I dont believe my DP was drug induced. All of a sudden, seemingly out of the blue...I realized that I was having trouble understanding where I was and how long I had been there, and that I couldn't remember how I got there!
SHeesh...what a long strange trip its been.

Drugs tend to be a catalyst as opposed to a cause.

Curiosity, I guess. Just like all the other threads I'm drawn to.

And sorry for my overreaction to the Rx drugs thing. I just hated it when people looked down on my for my illicit 'drug' use but wouldn't consider things like alcohol a drug.
