Here's all I know...My mom, who is 72, takes synthoid and has been for 8 or so years. She has been okay with it. They do some bloodwork every now and then to see if the doseage is still correct.
You know, you must have been feeling this way for a bit so why not call again, say "hey look, I'm not taking this med until I speak with the doctor. Please have them call me." Have your questions ready.
Could it be your anxiety gives you the hyper feeling? Ask him that.
And then, my friend, you will have to decide with the information what you are going to do. I think you have time to talk to the doctor before you go any further and get yourself more worked up.
