Afraid to take Levaquin

Hi, my doctor has prescribed me 500 mg of Levaquin for 7 days and I am terrified of taking it after reading about it on the internet. It seems to have great potential to exacerbate DP and cause psychosis, among other things. However, I also have acute tonsillitis and am allergic to many of antibiotics... I have taken Levaquin before, but that was back before my DP.

I've managed to finally get to a good place where I am not experiencing DP symptoms 24/7, and I am afraid to throw this away. It's taken me a year to get here. Please offer advice, if you can. I live in Japan and my doctor does not understand anxiety or other mental symptoms whatsoever (no one does here, it seems).
