I'm not trying to invade on your private lifes, but I have to see how many people go through this.

After sex, does your DP/DR get worse? For some reason, mine hits hard and my husband is really concern. So I thought I would see if any of you have this happen the them. Or do you know what brings on bad attacks of DP/DR?

(I'm not trying to be gross, this is a real serious question)

i find this happens to me, i think it may be down to the fact that during sex you are relaxed and your mind is obviously not focussing on the dp.....but when its over theres a rush of adrenaline that brings it back to extreme measures which is really dull and spoils the moment...puts you off the whole bloody thing :?

it may be you're not comfortable with your husband enough to fully be okay with the sex? b/c often depending on the amount of trust and love I have for a person, i can have many different feelings after sex. but hiding resentments/feelings about someone and a lack of trust can turn the sex into almost a violation of sorts, and then you feel endangered and run to DP/DR for protection.

I would think it might have to do with marital problems more than phsyical, HOWEVER strong feelings and adrenaline can be taken by your mind as a sudden change and that can be scary too.

I have this too...
During intercourse, we kinda disconnect with reality, with are almost only aware of the pleasure and body...
So when you come back from this you feel weird...
