your dp could be related to IT, instead of the other way around. like an inner ear disorder. go get your ears checked. there could be a blockage that is causing some of your symptoms. inner ear disorders can be the culprit for a whole mess of 'strange' symptoms misdiagnosed as mental.

oddly enough, when my dp hit, my ears became plugged and would not clear. even to this day, ten years later, they are still very crackly and will not clear. never figured that one out. and yes, i've been to an ENT doc (ear, nose throat specialist).

Doubt it's related to DP, mine are plugged and apparently it's a wax blockage.
