Sounds like a variation on the theme of existential anxiety. I remember coming to that same realization as an 8 year old kid. I'm TRAPPED in a life I didn't ask for and I don't like the terms of the contract that was signed while my parents were under the intoxicating effects of sexual intercourse. But, that was 49 years ago. Death never seemed like a preferrable alternative, so I set out to eat my fair share of chicken. And on my journey, I met quite a few people who were in the same boat as I was, and everyone was rowing hard going nowhere. Ask yourself "In 100 years, what difference will it make"?? (Answer: none). So, why not have fun with it? Death can't be that difficult. It is the only thing that every living creature will do successfully.

i know exactly this feeling. I looked up at the stars the other night, and it just didn't feel the same anymore. I use to LOVE the starts, now when i look at the sky its completely different, i can't even enjoy that anymore...
