Positive thoughts

26 March 2020 - 09:59 PM

Hey guys,

As I have seen in my previous topics that I get quite a lot of views, and since everyone here is currently battling their own mental problems which is very depressive, I hope that the people reading this are trying to be in good spirits.

Just know that you are all very strong to go through something like this, it takes someone great bravery to fight such a horrible disorder. Many people do not know the struggle and fight you are going through because they cant feel it or sense it, so be strong my peeps. In any great struggle you're in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.

As Mark Twain once quoted; " A thing long expected takes the form of the unexpected when at last it comes"

I hope the unexpected is soon for all of us this 2020 and I promise you, you'll appreciate the greatness that life can give you, just hang on there. (:

(Put up any quotes underneath that you've read and liked before below.)

Stay positive in this hard times my peeps,

Thoughts on personal trauma.

22 March 2020 - 07:52 PM

Hello guys,

Wanted to post a thought that just occurred to me earlier.

Have you guys considered that if this disorder is a trauma-based disorder and a potential main source of trauma could be in the sense of the hardship of experiencing this disorder and going through it, therefore, by looking it up more and being on this page it is just fuels this trauma, leading to it being a never ending cycle?
*its like digging and opening a scab without letting it heal*

Thought of the day,
Stay safe my peeps.

Any thoughts on valproic acid?

26 February 2020 - 12:13 PM

Has anyone tried valproic acid before to heal derealization?

is treatment necessary or can you heal alone?

17 February 2020 - 08:55 AM

I have been wondering for quite sometime if it is necessary to take medication in order to heal from this disorder or can you heal by yourself?
I have had DP/DR for over a year now and throughout this journey i have felt that my condition is improving month by month, although at a very slow rate without medication.
Please do let me know, cheers.

Phobia for alcohol or drugs due to DP/DR?

10 February 2020 - 02:34 AM

After DP/DR, sobriety is a blessing which to some is under-appreciated. Alcohol and other things that impairs my mental capacity give me a sense of panic thinking that could lead to DP/DR arising again.

Do you guys feel the same?

Have a good week,
