Moments when dr is gone

24 July 2019 - 02:27 AM

Today about 60 percent of the day I didn't even notice my dp/dr. This hasn't happened for a couple of weeks. Just makes me realize more that when I don't think about it it goes away. And when it doesn't make me anxious it doesn't bother me. Hope I can start some ssri/SSRI's soon to help make that permanent.

You aren't psychotic

24 July 2019 - 02:23 AM

This is meant to be a helpful rant because I actually am going through the same thing. Just know that dp/dr isn't close to what psychosis is. The only similarity is how people describe psychosis as a disconnect from reality. But they don't mean pit of body experiences they mean believing that someone is out to get them or that they are the chosen one. Feeling like you are having an out of body experience means that you feel like you do. It is when you believe you aren't in your body and you can fly around the world is when you can be described as psychotic.

When I hear someone say the words “realize” or “personalize” I get sad :(

Anyone else? Just instantly reminds me of this shit. I just want to be able to go on a hike and smoke a joint again!!

Feel like I am going crazy.

I feel like I am going crazy. I don’t know why. I am scared shitless of having schizophrenia and/or psychosis. I have OCD and I always feel like something is making my dp worse even though I know that it is anxiety. Even the word paychosis scares me.

Trazadone

20 June 2019 - 12:09 PM

Is trazadone safe to use? I have started to have horrible insomnia for seemingly no reason at all. Only slept 2 hours a night or less for 5 days and I really really need help/sleep. My sister uses trazadone for sleeping is that good to use with dp/dr?
