Still wish I knew what the truth was regarding whether I believe I'm in the same world or not. Maybe someone can help me with my current conundrum?
So one of the weird coincidental things that always happens to me is that products etc that I liked that disappeared from shelves/were discontinued at different points in time always seem to reappear when I think about them after a while. Great you would think, what a gift...but I don't want this control. I'd rather they didn't appear ever again and that I truly believed this was the real world, but dreams coming true don't fit with that world view. I'd say 99% of the products that I have thought about liking and whether they would come back all have and counting...
Anyone got a different way of thinking about this? It just feels to me like magic..like I have control, which I wouldn't have in the real world, so I can't be in the real world.
This is an intellectual challenge. Can you make things appear? The answer is no. It's just impossible. You may "feel" that you
can, but you "know" you cannot. You might "feel" you have answered the math question correctly, and still receive a failing grade
because your teacher "knew" the answer was incorrect. See how that works?
Ths is actually a brilliant way of describing how to differentiate whether something in my head is a feeling or belief. Sometimes I find it hard to tell.
A pair of trainers that were discontinued a number of years ago which I thought about were re-released shortly after.
A shop used to sell these great flapjacks but got rid of them years ago. I thought about how them and how I wanted one, they appeared again shortly after.
After these examples and more I started coming up with things that I remembered which hadn't returned to reassure myself, one of them were these Twix biscuits in 3 layers which literally haven't been around for 20 years in the UK... Shortly after they were back in the shops.
Hopefully that explains things better. As I said you'd think this would be great, but not when you're worried this isn't the real world and this becomes evidence.

i was faced with a similar predicament when I lost my emotions following intense temporal lobe seizures. I came to realize my emotions couldn't be trusted
any more. I had to rely on my intellect to survive in the absence of properly functioning emotions. So, my intellect said I was damaged, but alive.
My intellect said my feelings of profound hopelessness had to be ignored if I was to survive. My intellect said you have to go outside because you
cannot let your fears imprison you. So I followed my intellect for several years, and my emotions returned to about 75% of what they once were.
That's better than nothing. Life dealt me a bad hand, and I played it the best I could. All you can do is make the best of it.
I understand the fear u have. There was a time years ago when i was a kid where the books i kept reading were made into movies literally right after id finish one. This happened three times in a row, back to back and although it was awesome to see them as movies, it was a bit creepy.
Ive also had some things just pop up again after thinking about them a bit. Ive also had weird moments of sharing the same thoughts as another person. Honestly, i think its all just coincidences, i think your just super duper focused on it.
Or then 99% of the time they haven't, and you selectively remember when they have or remember wrong, possibly coming up with the "memory" post hoc. Memory is anything but reliable. No offence meant, but in unstable individuals such as yourself it's even less reliable. You're likely to remember things in a way that confirms your delusions.
I have noticed many of the same type "coincidences" (that don't seem possible to be coincidence) that you have, and I wonder if I created this forum, and thus "you" in my own mind to not feel so alone. How this forum could exist and me JUST FIND IT TODAY after years searching for topics related to solipsism etc seems ridiculous. Google just NOW found this forum relevent for the search terms I've used?
Maybe his ability is only limited to making things appear, not the opposite.
