Hello! A little bit about myself. I've had DP for a year and a bit. I don't know what caused it, but here's somethings it could be:

A bad break up
Doing a lot of MDMA in one sitting
HPPD
Being sexually assulted and then raped in a two month period (2 different dudes)
Just generally anxious since life is stressful and childhood sucked.

I've been on 3 different kinds of drugs but I hate medication. Lexapro didn't do anything, welbutrin is making it worse and my doctor prescribed me anti-psychotics that fucked me up. Currently I'm going to be going off all medication.

with the new medication (welbutrin) it's making my HPPD worse. Now instead of just seeing visual snow I have a ringing in my ears. Everyday is agony and I don't know how to help myself! But I'm trying, and that's all I can really do.
