I don't enjoy DP, but I am now de-sensitized to the symptoms and strange feelings. Now I just observe the feelings from afar with no feelings of doom and gloom.

this for me as well

It's all I've known too and it hasn't been fun or spiritual. Have you been hospitalized for clinical depression and had severe anxiety too.? Not a bit spiritual. It's been frightening mostly and at times I can feel more decent.

I can't say I've ever enjoyed it. It's not a good "out of it" feeling like being on drugs or being drunk would give. The only perk is that, like everyone with DP/DR I'm assuming, I've become much more introspective and thinking in general. But the feeling itself isn't enjoyable at all. I don't have DR episodes; I've had it 24/7 for 10+ years.
