Or just too much sunlight? Whenever I'm outside I always see floaters and other visual epiphenomenons, and it's downright annoying and makes it too hard to concentrate.
No way, I love it. Artificial lights is another story and feel more intense. I went to go fill up my tank a day ago and I could barely swipe my card cuz the lights were hella bright in the station lol
+1 for artifical lighting, supermarkets are the worst. This time of year with such liitle sunlight and then when it is sunny the light is so harsh, does terrible things to DR.
I definitely agree that overexposure to sunlight makes everything look surreal. I no longer suffer from DR and I still don't enjoy the way it conflicts with my vision.
I'd rather be in a supermarket or somewhere indoors that protects me from too much sunlight. The heat brimming from it bothers me too. Flourescent lights don't bother me that much unless I'm in the mall.
Sunny days definitely remind me of my mental state before DP and how I was able to enjoy it then.
Whenever it's sunny by me and someone makes a comment like, "It's such a beautiful day" I just tell them I hate sunny weather and they look at me weird. They don't understand my afflictions.
Im the total opposite...I hate cloudy grey rainy days..They depress me so much...I suffer from SAD and winters can be harsh on my depression...I guess its probably because in Ireland we see so many cloudy overcast rainy days and such little sunlight....When the sun comes out i feel invigorated!
I have the strongest derealization when its sunny and the skies are completely clear. Interestingly enough it gets better when there are only a couple of clouds in the sky. My derealization is at its low when it is cloudy or overcast.
Sunlight makes for a better mood, as for me. I enjoy the sunshine bringing everything to life, warming the earth. Makes my DP seem like a waste of time.
Sunny days = worse DP/DR . Cloudy and Rainy days = less DP/DR. Snowy Days > or = Rainy Days - (DP x 7)^9
