Gosh, I am tired, tired, tired. Writing this intro feels nearly impossible. I am not sure what has happened to me. In March, I had a lot of diet and supplement changes and started having what i recognized as DP/DR. I had these symptoms before, usually very specific and traceable to anxiety inducing situation (like being in crowds).

Now, I feel like I’m in a dream 24/7. It started just at night and is now during all waking hours. Music sounds far away. Brain fog. Physical and mental fatigue. It does vary in severity, so I’m trying to work out triggers.

I feel very incapacitated. Not sure what else to say here. I’m 24 years old. This has been going on for over 2 months. Feel very stuck.

I had been dealing with a drug-induced condition called akathisia. Which interestingly enough started to improve (after 3 years!) around the same time I got worsening DP. So maybe this fundamental shift in the way I experience the world has triggered a trauma response. Or maybe some third factor that caused both worsening Dp and improved akathisia. Who knows. That’s all the insight I have.
