  I get a lot of hate for being anti-racist and pro-feminist on here. Unfortunately, we do live in a patriarchal culture where racism, sexism, classism, ageism, and ableism exists freely and thrives (especially in subtle ways) throughout western culture. To deny any of these things is a clear admittance to your ignorance and preference for bullshit gender roles, white privilege, and deeply embedded misogyny. If you'd like to dismiss my (perfectly valid) opinions and tell me that racism doesn't exist because our president is black and that feminism is full of misandrist bra burning dykes, please, I BEG you, give me proof! I want statistics and unbiased work to review. I'd love to know how the reason I was raped twice isn't because we live in a rape culture, and I'd LOVE to know why the word "nigger" isn't inherently racist. You should explain to my black boyfriend that it's okay if you dismiss his culture and tell him that "white people were slaves too". Explain how calling me a "slut" for voicing an opinion isn't misogynistic. I'd especially like to hear about these things from non white men. If you're going to argue with me, bring up valid points and don't bring your male privilege to the table. Otherwise, pick up a book, enroll in college, do anything, just educate yourself.
  
  Other than that, I'm here to learn about how people recovered from their DP/DR. I'm not interested in pseudo science, but I am interested in knowing your stories and what works for you. What works for one will not work for all, but might work for a few other people...and who knows, maybe I'm one of those few people. :D
