im 21 years old and i have had dp since 2008. not going to lie it has definetly put a huge damper on my life and im just over it. looked up "miracle" treatments for a long time and i have come to the conclusion that there is no miracle treament or pill or anything anyone can do. sure pills and people can help but its soley up to you and no one or anyhting else. the only way we can be cured is to cure our selves and i am ready to try by accepting that it is here and i cant fight it away, cry it away, wash it away. the best answers i have found out there over the 2 years was coming to exceptance getting out doing things being active but i was to scared to do those and wanted an sweet sweet instant cure. but reality has finally hit me in the face and now i know what i have to do to get my oldself back. if you are recovered from dp or currently being affected from it i would love to hear your stories and i would also love to give and get some support
