I know for a fact that although it would be hard, it would be slightly easier to learn piano if i hadn't  developed dp.

but i guess it'll make it even more satisfying when i start to be able to play it, knowing i had that extra obstacle...

anyone here play an instrument?

Cool man! I play the piano myself :)

It sure is hard sometimes with the DP. It often feels like progress is impossible. But when you can play a song it feels damn good to just play and let your soul express itself through the music :) It's like all of a sudden you have something that brings you back to life, if only for a couple of minutes ;)

I did piano and choir for 10 years, though I've been singing my whole life. honestly I never felt that I was being impeded by my brain-junk, but maybe I'm just lucky. also pecked at guitar and bass, and drums seem kinda fun.
