Yeah, I've gotten a bit better, now, although now the OCD/racing thoughts has come back! SWEET! Haha.
Distraction and getting back into my old hobbies and interests has helped with the "mind blankness" because it's kept my anxiety/hyper-vigilance at bay quite well, which allows my imagination and ability to daydream to come back and thrive. Sleep helps as well -- when I'm relaxed, my mind is more active and optimistic. Do everything you can to get a good night sleep.
