Due to recent trolling incidents, we've started requiring approval for the first 20 posts created by new members. Those posts won't appear until a mod or admin has approved them. After 20 posts, you'll automatically be promoted to the full member group and you'll be able to post without approval. After 20 posts, you'll also be able to access the chat room.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We know it sucks to wait for your posts to appear and we'll try to get to them as quickly as possible!

A catalog of banned members does indeed exist, as to the reasons why, that would be nearly impossible. Even with this catalog it is impossible to monitor every member that has been banned. This new system works quite well, chat is now seen as more of a privilege than a right, and with the posting limit it gives staff an easier time weeding out troll/spam accounts.

We know it is difficult to wait and see if your post has appeared, but any time someone clicks post, it shows up right away for moderators/admins, Please do not post more then once, it just makes it harder for us to get to approving your posts. Thanks!

Are some of the other features of the site blocked until the 20 post mark, too? The chat and uploading images features aren't working for me yet, and I didn't want to bother anyone if it's just a trial period setting. Also, as a new person, 1000% support this measure to keep out the spammers!

Another site that I'm an active member on has a thread with all the banned members & why they were banned, & it is very funny to read through!
