DP gives the sensation that you're losing touch with it, but what disorders make you actually completely lose it?

I guess full blown psychosis when you get hallucinations etc completely removes you from consesus reality where your reality is more influenced by whats going inside rather than whats going on outside.

If you are experiencing DP, my personal opinion is to not ask yourself this question. You can ask the board all you want, but why make yourself more anxious?

The reason I am saying this is because I am one personally to have researched mental illness while I experienced DP/DR. It made me more anxious, and then made my DP/DR worse.

Please do yourself a favor, and focus your intention on things that make you happy and are fun, rather than something that could make your anxiety worse.

Good Luck!
