As per previous questions regarding MDMA (the active ingredient in E), there is a difference between it's actions and that of SSRI's. SSRI's inhibit the uptake of Seretonin, but MDNA actively increases the amount of Seretonin being produced in the brain, but only for a limited period. You can only take a certain amount of E in one night that will have an effect, and after a number of hours and the come-down starts, it doesn't matter how many more pills you drop, it won't increase the levels of seretonin - your brain is dry.

As a consequence of being 'seretonin dead', most people suffer depression, anxiety, tremors etc, for a number of days afterwards.

For me, after huge amounts of the stuff, it induced DR.

I can't see any theraputic benefits of using MDMA, except, perhaps, in very low doses over a short period of time.

It certainly is a extraordinary feeling when you are 'on' E. You feel excited yet calm, personable, 'loved up', gregarious, special.....but those days are over for me. If a temptation.....but with consequences of the famous..."One small wafer thin mint"....Monty Python et al..
