Yep, this is very similar to the feelings I get if I'm dp'd. It goes beyond the cotton wooly feeling in the hands and feet, and is almost like you've been holding a brick at arms length for several minutes. I feels as if the bones in my hands are needle thin and are going to snap. It makes me tremble, though not with fear, and I got a bit worried that it was a drug side-effect.

This happens to my legs as well, which makes walking difficult, and I coined the term 'knee deep in pavement' to describe it though Charles Darwins 'treading air and vision' is somehow more accurate.

Though alarming and very, very unpleasant at the time its all in perfect order now, and there have been no lasting effects.
